X Alpha Play is an independent game studio in Chiang Mai. We design gentle trail-walking adventures for Android set in misty northern hills, where the player plans a route, packs supplies and reads the weather.

Our designs are about the pleasure of a well-planned day outdoors rather than danger or speed.

Each trail is a small puzzle about distance, with water and daylight as the limits. Players choose when to rest, which path to take at a fork and what to carry, and the landscape changes with the season, from cool-season mist to rainy-season streams. A route journal records every walk, and nothing is lost by turning back early; the hills are always there for another attempt. Animals and plants spotted along the way are added to a field guide that slowly fills as the seasons turn.

1. Stage 1

   Pack

   Choose what to carry: water, rain cover, a map, a snack. Weight slows you down.

2. Stage 2

   Read

   Clouds, wind and light tell you how the day will change.

3. Stage 3

   Walk

   Pick each fork in the path and decide when to rest.

4. Stage 4

   Arrive

   Reach a viewpoint, a village or a waterfall and record it in the journal, with a note about the weather and how long the walk took.
